The Federal Forestry Agency of Russia would like to take this opportunity to inform you about extension of the deadline for applications to take part in XVII International Junior Forestry Contest. New deadline for registration is 30th October, 2020.
The Contest is held from 30th November till 4th December, 2020.
Due to current COVID-related restrictions, the Contest will be held online. Still, the prizes and certificates of participation will be real and sent to participants by post.
Students aged 14-21 are most welcome to make use of this international forum to tell their research in forest-related issues.
Research works will be evaluated by the International Jury, where experts from The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), The Barents Euro-Arctic Council (BEAC), United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and other international organisations take part alongside with representatives of different countries of the world.
Participation in the Contest is completely free of charge. We also provide simultaneous English-Russian interpretation.
The information about the Contest, its rules of procedure, as well as the guidelines for students’ research works and criteria for their evaluation are given here as well as in the ppt attached.
